anyway, some breaking news

The Football Association has confirmed that Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has been questioned as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of insider betting.

Pompey chairman Milan Mandaric and chief executive Peter Storrie have also answered the FA's questions following Redknapp's controversial return to Fratton Park from Southampton earlier this season.

HARRY REDKNAPP "We have all been up there to see them at the FA over this and we have given them everything they have asked for," Redknapp told the News of the World.

"They even showed me a list of names of certain people who had placed bets and asked me about them.

"But I don't know anything about it. I have done nothing wrong. I didn't have a bet and that's an end to it.

"But unfortunately this just keeps dragging on and, to be honest, I could do without it. I actually think Milan has told the FA now that enough is enough."

Mandaric said: "All this stuff is absolute rubbish. It is all speculation and I am trying to stay above it all. I have had a lot of discussions with Harry about this and he has nothing to do with any of it.

"How the hell can he tell anyone to go and bet - the final decision was only made 20 minutes before the press conference."

I have to agree, also the guy who did the Pompey vs Sunderland game on Sky Sports News had his head in his hands when Sunderland scored and was grinning for ear to ear when pompey scored apparently. So thats hardly the un bias coverage they are ment to be offering.
As for MOTD and especially MOTD2 they are really getting on my nerves with this pro pompey stuff, why do they suddenly become so popular? The support show on the shows is not even suttle(sp?), why dont they just hang up a banner saying what they think about pompey.

I hope that they are docked points for this betting thing, every point gained under that dodgy car sales man, he looks so untrust worth. I also heard that the guy who owns pompey had his accounts frozen but still bought players, is that not illegal? If this is true then they should definetally have the points taken away, BUT wouldnt it be so sweet to do it on the pitch rather than FA ruling.
